Town Hall Series

The End Forest Mining alliance will be hosting a series of town halls across Perth and the Northern Jarrah forests region.

You’ll have the opportunity to listen to speakers on the topic of deforestation & habitat loss, air and water contamination, life by the refinery, First Nations perspectives, nature based recreation tourism, and the WA environmental approvals process and how to have your say.

You’ll also be guided to submit a comment during the Alcoa Public Environmental Review period, which closes August 21st 2025.

All events are free. Locations include Pinjarra, Perth, Fremantle/Walyalup, Mandurah, Jarrahdale, Kalamunda and online.

Submission Writing Workshop

Join us and our friends in the End Forest Mining alliance for our submissions workshop, where you’ll also be guided to make an informed and impactful personalised submission against Alcoa’s forest mining plans.

You’ll learn firsthand about the ways Alcoa are impacting the Jarrah forests, including the impacts of deforestation on wildlife, air & water contamination, recreation and tourism impacts, as well as the environmental approvals process and the next steps you can take after the public comment period.

With your help, by sending in powerful personalised submissions to the EPA, we can limit Alcoa’s mining and ensure WA’s irreplaceable Jarrah forests are protected for generations to come.Â
