Beers not bauxite @ Dune
Join us at Beers not Bauxite for an informative and fun night of speakers, local music and beer to fundraise for the campaign to end forest mining in WA’s beautiful Northern Jarrah Forests!
Right now, Alcoa’s mining is pushing WA’s Northern Jarrah Forests and all the creatures that call them home to the brink. Bauxite mining is threatening forests, our water catchments, habitat and a clean safe future for all. Currently, the State Environmental Protection Agency is asessing Alcoa’s application to expand their mining, and it’s up to all of us to take a stand for the forests.
Join us at Dune Beer Co to hear from people involved in the campaign, ask questions and learn how you can get involved! There’ll be tunes from local DJ West Cape Records, an epic raffle and you’ll be able to screen print your own “Protect Native Forests” t-shirt (bring a plain shirt if you can!) Food will be provided and you’ll be able to buy drinks at the Dune bar.
Tickets are $15, $10 concession / under 18s and free entry for First Nations folks, with all funds going to the campaign to end forest mining.

Accessibility: the venue is accessible via a ramp in the carpark. There is a small mezzanine level that is only accessible via stairs, and there is an accessible unisex toilet. Dune is a licensed venue, all under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
