Join the WA Forest Alliance (WAFA) team as the End Forest Mining Community Campaign Coordinator.

WAFA was established in 1990 to provide an umbrella organisation for the many groups working to protect WA’s native forests across Noongar boodja. WAFA has a small but highly effective team of passionate, hard-working and dynamic people who care deeply about the protection of native forests.

POSITION OVERVIEW

End Forest Mining (EFM) is an alliance of groups, all working together for a shared purpose: to end bauxite mining in WA’s Northern Jarrah Forest. Our vision is for the State’s magnificent remaining jarrah forests to be safe from mining, and protected forever. The EFM campaign is managed by a Steering Committee of WAFA as well as Conservation Council of WA (CCWA) and the Wilderness Society WA (TWS).

The EFM Community Campaign Coordinator will assist with alliance coordination and serve as the primary point of contact for EFM alliance members and external stakeholders engaging with the EFM campaign, in order to build a bigger and more diverse movement for protecting WA’s native forests from mining.
